Privacy notice

Protect Flat Roofing Specialists is a trading name of Nicky Davey. This notice explains what we do with the details you give us.

What we collect

When you use our quote form, call, email or message us, we receive the details you choose to give: usually your name, phone number, email address, postcode, a description of the job and any photos of your roof.

When you send the quote form, Cloudflare's spam check (Turnstile) also looks at technical details such as your IP address and browser, to tell people from automated spam. To stop the form being misused, it also keeps a scrambled (hashed) record of the IP address and email address used. These are only needed for a day, and old ones are cleared out each time the form is used.

Why we use it

Only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a survey, send you a quote and, if you go ahead, carry out and guarantee the work. If you give us your email address, the form sends you an automatic email to confirm we've received your enquiry. We never sell your details or add you to a mailing list.

Who else sees it

Our website and email are provided by IONOS, who store the information on our behalf, and our emails are forwarded to a Gmail inbox provided by Google. Cloudflare runs the quote form's spam check. We don't share your details with anyone else unless the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep your details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry. If we do the work, we keep them for as long as your workmanship guarantee lasts, so we can honour it.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email info@protectflatroofing.co.uk or call 07513 880921. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This website doesn't use cookies for tracking or advertising, and the quote form's spam check doesn't use cookies at all.
